$165,000 Settlement During Trial for Construction Site Laborer Who Suffered Ankle Fracture Injuries
This was a New Jersey construction site OSHA safety violation accident case involving ankle fracture injuries. The construction site at issue was a large residential community. Due to the negligence of the contractor defendants, the ground where plaintiff had to do his work was left in a hazardous and dangerous condition. Due to these unsafe conditions, the ladder plaintiff was using to repair the siding on one of these homes was unstable, shifted and caused plaintiff to fall off and suffer injury. The case settled during trial in Middlesex County, New Jersey for $165,000.
